Article 1. Legal frameworks for the processing of personal data

Bamburista is a company focused on selling lifestyle products with bamboo fabric / canvas as the main component. The following legal frameworks apply to Bamburista's business activities:

The Implementation Act of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as: UAVG).

Article 2. Description of personal data

Bamburista can process personal data about you because you use Bamburista's products and/or because you have provided your personal data to Bamburista yourself. Bamburista can process the following personal data: your first and last name, your address details, your date of birth, your gender, your telephone number, your e-mail address, your payment details and your IP address.

Article 3. Purposes of the processing of personal data

Your personal data will only be processed on a fair basis and only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes. Your personal data may be processed by Bamburista for: entering into and executing an agreement with you, to determine the address for the delivery of products, to make payment, to keep you informed of the progress of the agreement and to maintain the relationship with you (as a customer).

Article 4. Retention period personal data

Bamburista does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your personal data was collected in the first place (see article 3). Your personal data will in any case not be kept for longer than 5 years (based on the term set by the tax authorities for the retention of administration).

Article 5. Processing personal data with third parties

Bamburista only provides personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. Bamburista may provide your personal data to a mail order company to have the purchased products delivered to the address provided by you and to a payment processor to make payment for the purchased products.

Article 6. Marketing activities

In the context of its marketing activities, Bamburista keeps track of the general visitor data of its visitors. In this context, in particular the IP address of your computer and the time of the retrieval of data, which the browser of a visitor sends, can be registered. This data can be used for statistical analyzes of visitor and click behavior on the website and is anonymised as much as possible.

Article 7. Security of personal data

Bamburista handles your personal data with care and treats it confidentially: your personal data will only be processed by persons with a duty of confidentiality and only for the purpose for which the personal data was collected. In addition, Bamburista ensures appropriate security of the personal data. Bamburista protects the personal data entrusted to it using technical and administrative security measures to minimize the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration of the personal data. This includes firewalls, encryption of data and physical and administrative access controls to the data and servers. Article 8. Rights of data subjects

Bamburista honors all your rights as a data subject. The data subject is the natural person to whom the personal data processed or to be processed relate. One of the objectives of the GDPR is to protect data subjects as well as possible when processing their personal data. In order to guarantee this protection and fair processing of the personal data, the GDPR offers the data subject a number of rights that the data subject can exercise or invoke against the controller (in this case Bamburista).

The data subject has the right to information about the processing of his/her personal data, the right to inspect his/her personal data, the right to correction, rectification or completion of any incorrect personal data, the right to erasure of the personal data ("the right to to be forgotten"), the right to restrict the processing of his/her personal data, the right to object to the processing of his/her personal data, the right to transfer his/her personal data ("data portability"), the right not to be subject to automated decision-making and the right to object to the processing of personal data.

You can submit a request to assert one of the rights mentioned above by sending an e-mail to e-mail. Bamburista will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within 4 weeks.

Article 9. Cookies

Bamburista uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. Bamburista uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. On your first visit to the website, Bamburista has already informed you about the use of these cookies and Bamburista has asked for your permission to place the cookies.
